My grandma sent me a bunch of photos from the 70’s…
Many of the images had faded over time, leaving faces hard to see and the colors and patterns are strange and faded.
Working from these photos and public domain images, I created mixed-media illustrations, leaving the faces blank, echoing the way aging photographs distort personal details while preserving the feeling of a moment.
